Islamic Network. Transforming A Generation
Our aim is to empower and support Mosques in the UK to provide a service that engages and nurtures the young people in their community.
This will be done via an annual calendar of Community, Leadership and Networking activities that address the root cause of the problems relating to Identity, lack in access to positive Role Models and a lack of positive Character traits with general and specific milestones for us to track our progress in the community.
At present, we are working on the ground with Mosques across London who mirror our concerns with their own experience of dealing with these symptoms in their own individual communities.
For the majority of them, they want to work to resolve this crisis but don’t have the right structure and resources in place to make a meaningful impact.
That's where we come in with Our Projects.
"Muslims account for only 4.8% of the population, yet more than 15.5% of the prison population is Muslim."
"33% of Muslims are aged 15 or under."
"8.1% of all school aged children in Britain are Muslim."
