We are facing an unprecedented situation with COVID-19 where Mosques and community centres are closed to reduce the spread of the virus. Islamic Network has developed a strategy for our partner Mosques, and those in our wider network to engage and empower their local communities online and via social media.
This situation not only poses a physical threat but a spiritual one where the vast majority of Muslims will be ‘cut-off’ from the Mosques at a critical time in the Islamic year, Ramadan.
This project will include training on communication tools for Mosques and helping the Mosque to achieve 4 core objectives in this uncertain time. These areas are
